44mm thickness is NOT available for contemporary or panelled style doors
The vast majority of our traditional doorsets are made to a minimum thickness of 56mm. They are double boarded and insulated with secure multipoint locking systems. However, we know not every project calls for super thick, insulated doors.
Our 44mm thick doors still look great, last for years, and come fully finished – but at a lower cost. If you’re after a bit of character, these are ideal: the ledge, ledge & brace detail on the back adds a traditional touch, rather than mirroring the front, which many people love.
Even though these doors are a more affordable option, they are still made with the same care and attention as everything we produce. You’ll get the same expert joinery, top quality materials, and professional factory finish – just with a simpler spec;
- 44mm thick door, single boarded (no insulation to door)
- Frame still fully draught proofed with stormguard cill to base of frame
- 14mm toughened double glazed units
- Made from hardwood
- Choose from a small selection of standard colours (other colours available for an extra cost)
- Winkhaus stable door locking system (secure) and Era 3* Euro Profile Cylinder TS 007
